Aenur – Rahmah train Muslims on how to excel in a competitive environment

Aenur – Rahmah International Islamic Society of Nigeria, a leading Islamic organization has organized a day business workshop for Muslim entrepreneurs on how to excel and overcome challenges in whatever field they find themselves. The workshop tagged “making it big in a competitive environment” was held on Saturday, 14th of December, 2019 at KFC, Ikeja City Mall Lagos.

The Converner of the workshop, Seidah Zeenat Abiola Kalejaye said the seminar is meant to educate people on how to move on despite challenges.

“The purpose of the seminar is to educate people on how to move on despite challenges, despite having people that are on the same line with them. Is just to educate us, to nurture us and to tell us what we can do. We have 3 speakers; Maolana Shaykh Kalejaye, myself and Idris and we also have the presence of our father, Alhaji Garu; which they all let us realized that we need to have a winning attitude, we need to understand ourselves, we need to know our strength and the same work on our weaknesses and have good relationship with people in general, not only our customers.

“This programme will change the thinking of the participants, their orientation, it will let them believe in themselves, it will let them have self reliance, it will let them think outside the box and even if there is no box, it will help them to think that they can create another box on their own, Seidah Zeenat asserted.”

She also admonished well meaning Islamic organizations to partner with them in order to impact more lifes adding that this kind of programme is more needed then the other traditional programmes. “I think we need more of this programme than any other traditional programmes we’ve been having. This will educate us and it will prepare our minds for the future that no matter what the challenges may be, we can still scale through, we can still get to our destinations irrespective of the challenges and obstacles.” She added.

Shaykh Muslihudeen Abiodun Kalejaye, National Missioner, Aenur – Rahmah International Islamic Society of Nigeria who is also one of the facilitators at the workshop in an interview with our correspondent describe the workshop as fantastic, educative, interesting and an eye opener in so many ways. According to him, the programme will add more values to the participants, they will know how to cultivate interpersonal skills, how to engage in successful businesses, how to acquire more knowledge and how to move much much faster in life. He then advised the participants to put into practice everything they have learn at the workshop.

The CEO, Garu Technologies Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Lukman Garu while addressing the participants lay emphasis on emotional intelligence and describe it (Emotional intelligence) as the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one’s emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. According to him, components of emotional intelligence are; self – awareness, self – regulation, motivation, empathy as well as social skills.
