Al Qalam Shines at Stakeholders Meeting on Best Practices in Education

The Annual Stakeholders Meeting on Best Practices in Education for Sustainable National Development in Nigeria organised by the Faculty of Education, Lead City University, Ibadan was attended by competent Team from Al-Qalam Schools Ibadan, one of the leading Islamic school in South-west Nigeria.

The Team of Al-Qalam Schools, Ibadan enhances the school’s reputation among the renown institutions and educational experts in the country through their attendance, active participation and professionalism in conducts at the event.

The Team lead, Mr Badmus Kolawole Soliu stated that lectures delivered at the just concluded event met the organiser’s set objectives as made known to the participants. According to him, a topic lecture titled: “Facilitating the Mental Health of Children to enhance learning and foster National development” delivered by Professor D. A Oluwole is highly commendable both in content and context. Mr. Badmus added that issues involved in children’s mental health challenges key stakeholders for enhanced contributions for National growth and better Nigeria.

Other team members (Mrs. Bilikis Kolawole and Mrs. AbdulRaheem) of Al-Qalam Schools who actively participated at the event remarked that the event was an eye-opener and they are looking forward to more of such impactful forum.

They submitted that Professor M.O.B Mohammed’s lecture titled: “Establishing a School climate that prioritizes Child Safety to promote sustainable National Development” significantly challenged Schools and Teachers to give preference to learners safety. Both Mrs. Mrs. Bilikis Kolawole and Mrs. AbdulRoheem Mujidat concluded that their learning points from the lecture made them agreed further with the Safeguarding Statement of Al-Qalam Schools Ibadan, which is: “We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners and expect our stakeholders to share this commitment.”

Mrs. Kolawole (HOD, Primary Section of Al-Qalam Schools) said, school owners who are truly committed to making positive influence in the world at large should always find their way to be attending insightful event of this kind.

Mrs. AbdulRoheem Mujidat however expressed her profound gratitude to the Management of Al-Qalam Schools for nominating her to attend the meaningful event which took place on Tuesday 11th July, 2023 at Lead City University Ibadan.
