Alake of Egbaland Approved Chief Alfred Akanni Ayesoro as Baale of Akia Village

In readiness for the installation of Chief Alfred Akanni Ayesoro as the Baale of Akia Igbore Village under Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, the Baajila of Egbaland, Chief Ifasiji Ifakotemi Olowo-Okere has presented him to the Alake of Egbaland, HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo – Okukenu IV, after which all necessary confirmation has been done through the Oluwo of Igbore land, Chief Anthony Olayiwola Oliyide and the Apena of Igbore land, Hon Chief Anthony Olu-Ogunseye.


Alake of Egbaland, HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo gave his approval for the installation, and also prayed for Chief Alfred Akanni Ayesoro and great people of Akia. He urged him to always seek for the development of the area and also not to forget to carry other villages along.


Speaking with the youths representative at the event, Comrade Taiwo Olumayowa.B said it’s a long awaiting event and great people of Akia has been expecting a day like this because its historical in the village. He described it as putting round beg on round hole and that the youths of the village and it’s environs have shown their readiness to work and support the new Baale in achieving the positive impacts.

He also said the youths of this great community will never cease from contributing meaningful well in ensuring development comes to stay because the future belongs to them.


Chief Alfred Akanni Ayesoro is the first official Baale of Akia Village as his predecessors never receive approval or certificate from any paramount ruler or king.
