Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) conducted free medical screening and distribution of drugs and free eye glasses. The event which took place on Saturday, 5th of January, 2019 at Ita Oba, Adiyan – Orudu Road was well attended by the residents, both young and old as they all came out in their large number to benefit from the free medical exercise.
The residents commended the brain behind the event, Hon Akeem Oluwamayowa Ogunkoya for this initiative. An elderly man who also came for the medical screening, Alhaji Kabir said “If Akeem who is just vying to represent Ifo constituency II at the Ogun State House of Assembly can do this before getting to office, then we should expect something greater from him when he get to office. I will just admonish the residents of Ifo constituency II to came out in their large number come March 2nd to cast their vote for Akeem. This is a young and vabriant man that has not hold any political office before.”
Aladiyan of Adiyan, HRM S. Onifade commended Hon Akeem for a well done job, adding that is a must for the residents of Adiyan to support the person who could bring free medical screening to them. “You have not see any crowd yet, Adiyan situated on 8 miles of land, which is all occupied by human and not bush. I can assure you that the people will spread the news about the free screening they receive today.
Another beneficiary have this to say “This is the kind of person we need to represent us not those that are embezzling our resources. I will also admonish the people to cast their vote for him in the forthcoming election and I pray that he emerge winner in the election, because if he won the election, the people will really benefit from his representation.”
Medical screening services offered include: breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, cryotheraphy, malaria test, blood pressure, diabetic screening, HIV screening and counseling, mass deworming, free drugs as well as free eye glasses.
