Barrister Adeleke Adewolu aka Amaco and Hon Ganiyu Alani Oyedeji aka GOCO who are contesting for the post of House of Representatives, Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency and House of Assembly, Ifo Constituency 2 respectively on the platform of Allied People’s Movement (APM) take their campaign rally to Oke Aro – Ibaragun Ward 7 to interact and sell their manifesto to the electorates.
The event which was well attended by the party faithful and residents of the ward took place on Friday at Oke Aro Motor Park. Dignitaries at the event include party leaders within and outside the ward such as Hon Adebayo Ekun, chairman, Agbado Oke Aro LCDA; Hon (Mrs) Olagunju, Vice chairperson, Agbado Oke Aro LCDA; Hon Toheeb Davies, SLG, Agbado Oke Aro LCDA; Hon Funmilayo Kuti, MD, OGEPA; Hon Oluwole Enilolobo, former chairman, Ifo Local Government; Hon Akinpelu Segak, ward campaign chairman; Hon Olatunde Akinwande, campaign committee chairman, Agbado Oke Aro LCDA; Hon Shina Muritala, Vice Chairman, Ifo Local Government; Hon Francis, former Vice Chairman, Ifo Local Government as well as all the councillors of the LCDA.
Varrious associations, artisans and union groups led by their coordinators/chairmen in their numbers also graced the occasion to show their support.
Adeleke while addressing the teeming supporters, urged them to cast their presidential and senatorial vote for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in person of President Muhammed Buhari and Senator Ibikunle Amosun but other vote should be casted for Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidates. We decided to run on the platform of APM in order to reclaim our stolen mandate, he added. ”
The Federal Constituency campaign chairman, Hon Bola Adeyemi commended Oke Aro/Ibaragun ward for a well done job and for their large turn out, adding that there is no politician in Ogun State that dare toy with Oke Aro – Ibaragun vote. “If we have not heard the result of Oke Aro – Ibaragun vote, we are always restless, he asserted.”
“We are on an errand here and those who send us this errand will soon visit this ward, the governorship candidate, triple A as well as governor Ibikunle Amosun, so relax your mind, he added.” He then lay emphasis on what led to formation of APM.
Hon Oluwole Enilolobo as well as Hon Adebayo Ekun also urged the people to support and cast their vote for the candidates of APM.
Towns that the campaign train visited include Olambe, Matogbun, Itoki, Abule, Adiyan as well as Lemode, where they met their traditional rulers for endorsement.
