Crescent Community Development Association is currently buzzling as they now have access to electricity supply for the first time in over 10 years. The Chairman of the CDA, Charles Bayode Fanimoye in a chat with our correspondent said the community has been without electricity supply for more than 10 years but they started the electrification project 7 years ago. He appreciated Almighty God for successful completion of the project as well as members of the community for contributing towards the purchase of the transformer and for their unflinching support.
When asked, what factors led to the success of the project, Charles said: “Focus, Commitment, dedication and perservarance.” He then advised members of the community to embrace community development and to live peacefully. His words: “My advice to my community members is to embrace development and live together in peace. They should desist from any act that can jeorpadise the unity of the community. They should also see themselves as one family God has brought together to make a difference.
Other projects executed in the last 3 years of Charles Bayode Fanimoye led administration include; registration of the CDA with both local and state government, grading of roads and well as erecting of barricade at the entrance of the community.
