“This programme is going to have a very tremendous effects positively in terms of the awareness, in terms of the cleanliness of the environment, and then as you can see the chairman of Coker/Ibogun LCDA is also here. So that means the effect has already been felt by the LCDA. So we believe that will be delibrated upon when they get back to their office. And we are also trying to continue partnering with them in order to bring about the cleanliness of environment in Coker/Ibogun LCDA as a whole. The programme is sustainable and then I pray that it will be going on and on.”

He then urged youths in the LCDA to cooperate with one another in order to have the change they are clamouring for.

Comrade (Prince) Olawale Olowolagba, General Secretary, NYCN, Coker/Ibogun LCDA Chapter said “I am very happy, it has been a long while we have been planning to carry out this exercise and am glad this morning that it actually commenced. This is a sanitation exercise to the citizens of Coker/Ibogun LCDA saying that we should take environmental sanitation exercise a monthly routine.”
When asked what value did he think the exercise will add to the residents, he said “the value is a multiple chain effect on us. Health wise, we will all be sound in good health. Our community is so dirty, looking through our community, we find out that there are so many dirt every here and there. So when people come out and part take in this exercise, our community will look neat. There is a saying that, the way people see you is the way they will address you. So if we have a clean community, people will actually address us appropriately. Also, if we have clean environment, snake bite, cholera disease and the rest and the rest will flee our community.” He then urged youths in the LCDA to join NYCN. “Be a member of NYCN, part take in the monthly regular exercise and let have a clean and safe environment,” he added.
