Family, friends organized surprise birthday party to celebrate Alhaji Garu
24th of January is all about an icon, a motivator, a mentor, a philanthropist, a successful entrepreneur and CEO of Garu Technologies Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Lukman Garu but this year celebration is not as usual as family, friends and associates pulled resources together to organize a surprise birthday party for him to celebrate the man that has contributed in no small measure to life of many people. The celebrant who was filled with joy woke up to see his family members as well as friends from far and near to celebrate him.
The celebrant said he never plan to celebrate his birthday elaborately than to give thanks to God saying he has an appointment with someone in Ilorin but could not attend to the appointment due to the surprise birthday party. He then appreciate everyone for their love and support.
Shaykh Jamiu Ajadi Sinusi (Ami Olohun) while given the opening prayer described the celebrant, Alhaji Lukman Garu as a humanist per excellence. His words: “I pray we have a much more people like you, people of your personality, if we have someone like you as much as we can in this country, the ethnic problem, religious problem will never be our portion because either Muslim or Christian, you are just too real. You are humanist per excellence, someone who ready to make you happy irrespective of your religion, you are one in a million and you shall continue to prosper.”
Shaykh Jamiu then admonished the guests to always support one another and to always show love to people. “Join hand with people, show love to people, by the time you are doing something or by the time you need people support, it will come excessively marvelous, you will feel like you are the king, you will feel like you are the president exactly how Alhaji and his family are feeling now,” Shaykh Jamiu asserted.
Immediate elder sister of the celebrant, Alhaja Balikis Garu described her brother as a transformer that many people connect from. “I thank God for his life because if I start to talk about him, we wouldn’t leave here till tomorrow, I will urge everyone to continue to pray for him because he is a transformer that so many people connect from. He is a humble man to the core and am so proud to have him as a younger brother. I pray that God will give him long life and prosperity,” Alhaja Balikis added.
One of the celebrant children, Farida Garu have this to say about her father; ” my dad has been a great man, he has been a role model for everyone, he has been someone people are talking about, he has been good Islmaically and personally, and I pray he lives long and to celebrate more in life.”
Mrs Jemila said “Alhaji is an uncle, is a brother and also an inlaw to me, he is a very good friend too. He love to talk to everybody and advise you, he always want peace and happiness for everybody around him. I wish him more prosperous year, long life in good health and sound mind.”
One of the wives of the celebrant, Alhaja Medinat Garu describe her husband “as the most amazing man in the world.”
The birthday party was held in compliance with COVID 19 protocol as there is disinfectant booth at the entrance to disinfect all guests before entry.
