Fix Ifo 2 roads, YAPI Foundation beg Ogun Gov.
A youth organization known as Youth Ambassador for Positive Impact (YAPI) Foundation has call on Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to come to the rescue of residents of Ifo constituency 2 by fixing their roads that has been posing great treat to them for a very long time.
The appeal was made in an open letter made available to Community Gist and signed by the Founder/National President of the organization, Amb. Olayemi Paul. The letter reads:

“It is with due respect and honour to your office, and heart full of pains and grievance that Youth Ambassadors For Positive Impact Foundation write to you today. We are using this medium to notify you about the bad condition of some roads across Ifo Constituency 2 area of Ifo Local Government. For the last 10 years the road has been almost impassable. We have made several complaints, but the roads has been neglected for a very long time.
“The surface of the roads in Ifo constituency 2 was broken by the heavy rains that makes life so difficult for the people living across the location, it doesn’t only affects people businesses but stands as a threat to the lives of individuals around Constituency 2. The roads are under construction during the past administration and has been abandoned for several years without maintenance. There are several pools on sides of the roads that has already turn to a deadly pits all over which make things difficult for people to embark on their daily activities to the level of keeping their children out of school when noticed is about to rain. The bad road has caused a lot of damaged on properties and also to both adults and children living in Constituency 2 of Ifo Local Government.

“Due to the abandoned of construction exercises on many projects in Ifo 2 whenever there is rains all areas got blocked and the water flows out heavily, the road got flooded even after a slight rain. This always affected transportation services in the area by sudden change of transport fare because many transporter will have to abandon the road for some days and only few who decided to risk it will do nothing but inflates the transport fare. All these was caused due to the bad roads in the environment as they have many pools that has upgraded to pits on many of the roads in Ifo constituency 2 which stand as a danger for vehicles, bikes and human lives as well. With or without rain people in Constituency 2 always encountered a lot of difficulties along the roads at any time of the day.
“We are using this medium to call on your attention our dear Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun to come to the rescue of your people in Ifo 2 by protecting the lives and properties of our people in Ifo constituency 2 as we so much believe that government is continuity. Youth Ambassadors For Positive Impact Foundation commend your effort so far towards developmental projects you have embarked on across the state, please you don’t have to neglect our people in Ifo constituency 2, as the roads that linked Constituency 2 together serves a large number of people and we believe that the present government should listen to the cry of his people and channel the state infrastructure developmental programs to the people of Ifo Constituency 2 to be among the beneficiaries of dividends of democracy in Ogun State during your tenure.”
