Follow due process in choosing the chairmanship flag bearer, YNN tells Dapo Abiodun

A youth organization known as Youth for New Nigeria (YNN) has urged the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun to follow due process in choosing the flag bearer of the ruling party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government election in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.

This was contained in a press release personally signed by the Cordinator of the organization, Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Agboola Samuel.

The statement reads: “We the Youth for New Nigeria, Ewekoro Local Government want to appeal to our dear Governor to please follow due process in choosing the chairmanship flag bearer of his great party, APC. We observe the screening done by our great leaders in our dear Local Government, which we are aware of the candidates sent to your good office as you have ask them to do.

“We listen carefully to your address as at when you are addressing the party leaders in the State and we could discover that you itemize about 3 to 4 cogent point to be look into in a Candidate that will be the Flag bearer, which are:

“1. Someone with great popularity within the local government

“2. A candidate with no previous dubious or criminal act/cases as you won’t allow a candidate who will be elected and later be convicted of any criminal act.

“3. You stressed on Education where you said our dear state is the incubator of the educational sector in this country.

“We want you to stand on this points in choosing the APC flag bearer in Ewekoro Local Government. Having knowing fully well that if they eventually emerge, they are your faces in their various local government area.

“We hereby solicited to use your good office in choosing the right candidate from your great party, APC in our Ewekoro Local Government.

“We shall be looking forward for your pronouncement on the flag bearer of your great party, APC in Ewekoro Local Government.
