Friends, associates felicitate with Garu family as daughter says I do
Saturday, 28th of September, 2019 was indeed a joyous day for the families of Garu and Olamilekan as their children; Miss Aisha Aderayo Garu and Mr Muhammed Jamiu Opeyemi tie the knot. The event which was held at Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN) School premises, Akowonjo was well attended by friends, family, associates of both families as well as prominent Islamic scholars such as Sheik Binuyo, Sheik Musa Busari (Chief Imam, Egbeda Central Mosque), S. A. Ajani Yusuf, President Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN), Agege-Alimosho Chapters, M.O. Abiro, Captain Abdul Fatai Ogundele, Sheik Jelil as well as Sheik Lookman Imeko.
The Guest Lecturer, Sheik Musa Busari (Chief Imam, Egbeda Central Mosque) while delivering his lecture said Nikkai is commandment of Almighty Allah and sunnah of the noble Prophet saying everyone present at the event will be rewarded for every minutes they spent there. He also said that he and other members of Garu family believe and rest assured that Aisha will be well behave in her matrimonial home because of her upbringing and he also believe that the same goes to the groom, Muhammed Jamiu. He said apart from that, both of them are well brought up children who know their left from right adding that both of them have Islamic and Western education.
Sheik Binuyo explained Islamic procedure of marriage and ask the groom and bride how they meet each other and also find out if it is their wish to marry each other. He also asked if the parent of the groom have sought the consent of the bride parent, which they said yes. Afterward, he conjugates both of them and pray for them.
Alhaji Lukman Garu, CEO Garu Technologies Nigeria Ltd who gave the vote of thanks appreciates everyone for their presence and wish them safe journey back to their various destinations. He then prays that may Almighty Allah bless the union of the latest couple.
