The former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Alao Akao who recently jettisoned his governorship ambition on the platform of Action Democratic Party (ADP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), said if elected, he elected on the platform of ADP, he will definitely dump the party (ADP) for APC.

Akala also said he join APC for the betterment of Ogbomosho in particular and Oyo State in general. His word “There is nothing I am looking for other than Ogbomosho and Oyo State development. Anyone, especially the young ones that don’t understand my motive should as questions instead of spreading rumours or fake news.”

The former governor also pledged to support the House of Assembly candidates of ADP. “I have join APC but I will support House of Assembly candidates of ADP both morally and financially.”
