The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moment of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
The leadership of Ogun Central Senatorial District ably led by Com.(Dr) Adekunle Adewale K., through the State Organizing Secretary for Ogun Central, Com. Taiwo Olumayowa, has condemned the incessant killings of civilians by the Nigeria Customs Service. In a condolence message sent to the youth leadership of Ogun West, Adekunle sympathized with the families that lost their loved ones while he prayed that God grant the people of Ogun West the fortitude to bear the recent ugly incident that happened on 22nd December, 2020 which involved the Joint Task Force comprising men of Nigeria Custom Service and Nigeria Army.
Adekunle further urged the hierarchy of both Nigeria Custom Service and the Nigeria Army to checkmate the activities of their men especially those around border axis in Ogun state.
According to Adekunle, the emotional traumas that resulted from the recent #EndSARS protest has not been healed, and a repeat of what led to such uprising need be watched.
We appealed to the Youths around the district to continue maintain peace and orderliness as the state leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria continues to do all in its capacity to ensure justice for the victims.
Build the Youth…. Build the Nation
