Ona Ara Group of CDAs host Matogbun ACDC, Celebrate Feb / Mar born

The good people of Matogbun Area CDC has come together for the third time in the year 2020 to deliberate on how to develop their community.

The monthly statutory meeting which was held on Thursday, 5th of March, 2020 at The Community Hall, Matogbun was well attended by members and leaders of the community.

The chairman of Ona Ara Group 3 of CDAs, Elder Ogungbemi E. O in his welcome address commended the effort of the Area CDC on Matogbun – Oke Aro Road. “We appreciate the effort of CDC for the step taken to make Matogbun – Oke Aro Road motorable and to relieve member CDA; Ogo Oluwa from the flood. May God grant you wisdom and resources of leadership, Ogunremi asserted.”

The chairman (Ogunremi) also highlighted projects executed by the Group in the last one year as follows; purchased of concrete poles with aluminum cables, drainage, road maintenance and security.

Matogbun Area CDC chairman, Alhaji Adedokun Ibikunle while responding to the welcome address admonished the Group to work on their shortcomings by paying their necessary dues in order to develop the community. In his own response, the immediate past chairman of the Area CDC, Deacon O. M. Olapade urged the leaders in the Group to do the needful in order rescue the Group from collapse.

Alhaji Adedokun Ibikunle while addressing the gathering, urges them not to fight any official of the IKEDC saying anyone involve in that will be charged for assault. He also admonished them to warn their children or wards to be careful with job advert, especially those written or pasting on walls saying majority of them are criminals.

Issues discussed at the meeting include; health, security, CDA certificate, youth development as well as presentation of certificate of participation to CDA chairmen that took part in Community Development Training.
