Ope Ilu Youth Leader bag award of excellence
Saturday, 5th of December, 2020 was indeed a joyous and historical day for the Youth Leader of Ope Ilu Area Community Development Committee (CDC), Comrade Yusuf Okikiola Omidokun as he bag award of excellence, along side other community and political leaders at the launching of Community Choice Magazine.
The Publisher of the magazine, Mr. Ebenezer Ola Olatunji said Omidokun is been awarded for his contributions to the development of communities in Ope Ilu, Ifo Local Government, and encouragement of youths to participate in communal development.
Omidokun in an interview with our correspondent said he was highly delighted for the award and thank Almighty God for His grace so far in his life.
“To me this award is a challenge to me to do more and never relent in working towards the progress and development of our teeming youths and community at large. I will also use this medium to show my appreciation to Community Choice Magazine for counting me worthy of this honour, though it was not easy but our effort and sacrifice towards community development and youth development through organising various life changing programmes and training for the youths has earned me this award,” Omidokun stated.
Other awardees include; all past well performed Ifo Zonal Area CDC Chairmen, Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Consistuency Representative, Hon.Ibrahim Ayokunle isiaka ably represented the Vice Chairman, Ifo Transitional Committee, Hon. Alhaji Nurudeen Matanmi as well as Hon. Ganiyu Alani Oyedeji, Minority Leader, Ogun State House of Assembly.
