PROGRESSIVE YOUTH FOUNDATION IFO CONSTITUENCY 1 EMPOWERED OVER 50 YOUTH WITH STARTUP CAPITAL

…Progressive Women’s Foundation graced the event.
Not less than 50 youths drawn from each wards that comprises IFO 1 State Constituency and Ewekoro LG were splashed with start-up capital by Progressive Youth Foundation today at the investiture of Patrons/Matrons/Award Ceremony & Youth Empowerments held at Quality Event Centre, IFO.
PYF is a socio-political youth group that shares and believed in the political ideology/ legacy of Alhaji Tajudeen Olaotan Bello with more emphasis on youth development and empowerment. PYF is currently dominant in IFO LG, Ewekoro and Odeda while its still spreading her tentacles to other local governments and Southwest at large.
The day’s activities commenced with different games such as Ludo, Ayo olopon, Table Tennis etc while health screening exercise were going on simultaneously which includes but not limited to Optometrist, Dental Care, Blood Pressure, Massaging and so on.
The main program which kicked off by 3pm featured in the decoration of Patrons/Matrons, investiture of Advisers and award presentations to distinguished personalities and notable leaders.
Other activities of the day are products exhibition like Paints, Liquid Soap, Air Freshener,Izal and so on from Students trained by PYF on various skills acquisition as well as hunting of various Talents of young people.
The event as co-coordinated by Comrade Femi Abubakar, Comrade Farouk Olaotan Shitta and Comrade Biola Ikotun had in attendance over 700 people including the progressive women’s Foundation from IFO II, all PYF apex members led by the general coordinator, Comrade Dapo Oyekan, PYF IFO 2 excos led by the coordinator, Comrade Akingbile; Ewekoro LG excos led by the coordinator; other invited clubs/association and guest.
The constituency 1 coordinator, Comrade Gbenga Alli acknowledged the contributions everyone’s and thanked them all for their unflinching supports towards the program.
The program’s theme, the rationale for Youth Empowerment for holistic self-reliance and community development was delivered by Comrade Gbenga Taylor.
Comrade Babatunde Lameed coordinated the Talent hunt segment of the program which was done till mum’s call.
No doubt, PYF IFO 1 State Constituency are making changes and impacting lives.
