SHU to host Candidates Question Time as Students set to elect new representatives

Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) Student Union is set to host Candidates Question Time on Monday, 6th of March, 2023 for Student Union Officers running to represent the students for the next one year. This was contained in a statement found on the Student Union website and urged students to come forward to asked their intending representatives pertinent questions about issues affecting them.

The statement reads; “Meet the candidates running to be your next Students’ Union Officer team! They’ll be asked about key issues impacting Hallam students, and discuss how they would work to represent your needs.

Get to know their agenda, their views, and what they’re passionate about so you can make an informed decision when voting! After all, six of them will be representing you and your mates for the next year, so you want to find out who best aligns with your needs.

All issues discussed will be based on student feedback and reflect concerns shared across the student body. If there is an issue, area of student life, or key concern that you believe should be discussed, please let us know by submitting your ideas using the following short form.”
