Vote not fight: ANN candidate visit SPN candidate

The candidate of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) for Ogun State House of Assembly, Ifo constituency 2, Hon Akeem Oluwamayowa Ogunkoya have prove beyond reasonable doubt that election is no longer war as he paid a courtesy visit to Hon Taiwo Hassan Soweto, who is also contesting for the same post in the same constituency with him on the platform of Socialist Party of Nigeria (SPN) on Sunday.

Soweto who announced the visit on his Facebook page said “Late evening yesterday just as I was planning to retire to bed after a meeting of the SPN campaign committee, I got a surprise visit from Akeem Oluwamayowa Ogunkoya – the candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) for Ogun State House of Assembly, Ifo constituency II. Despite that we are contesting for the same position, this young passionate man had no problem with visiting me. I am humbled by the gesture and I must confess we had quite frank and solid discussions about our different efforts to provide a political alternative for the long-suffering people of Ifo constituency II even if our ideas and programmes are sharply different on several core issues.”
