Why Ariyoh Sacked Me – Animashaun

The Oshodi-Isolo Local Government All Progressives Congress (APC) Acting Chairman, Hon Saheed Animashaun has said his sack by the chairman of the council, Hon Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh was a result of his joining the Apex leader of the party, Pa Joseph Olabimtan.

Ariyoh had in a message released by his media and publicity crew on Wednesday relieved Animashaun from his appointment stating divulging of government secrets to the public as his reason.

But in his reaction to the sack, Animashaun who was until his sack was the Special Adviser to the chairman on Agric, Sports and Community Development, said it was as a result of his pitching his tent with the apex leader of the party in Oshodi.

The APC Acting Chairman also said his support for Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) and the Chairmanship candidate of the party in Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede before the party’s primary election accounted for reasons Ariyoh sacked.

Animashaun however said he is unperturbed by the supposed sack letter as he described it as the will of God.

“My sack note which was made public by Ariyoh is the will of God because if God has no hands in it, it will not happen this way.

However, I want the public to know that the reason given as divulging government secrets for my sack by Ariyoh is false, there has never been any occasion where I divulge government secrets to anyone or group of persons. I know that he sacked me because I pitched my tent with the Apex leader of our party and supported Oloyede in his bid to become the flag bearer of our great party, which he got at the last primary election through the people’s will.”

Ariyoh has remained a foe ever since his second term in office as chairman of the council with the Apex leader, Pa Olabimtan, Alhaji Ayinde and Otunba Oloyede and many other party leaders in the council.

Animashaun said his realignment with these party stalwarts annoyed Ariyoh and decided to show him the way out from his cabinet.

Animashaun stated that up until his sack, his loyalty for Ariyoh leadership remained unwavering.

“Ever since I have joined the local government cabinet, I have remained loyal to the leadership of the council boss, there has never been any time I divulged any secret of the council, my records are there for all to see.

“I am not joining issues with him, as I wish him and other members of the cabinet success in the last lap of the administration.”

He appealed to all members of the party to remain calm and not to be worried over the sack note as he said, he will do everything possible in his capacity as Acting Chairman of the party to ensure all aggrieved members are reunited.
