In their bid to contribute their quota to community development and to impact more lives, particularly that of the youths, Youth stakeholders in Ifo Constituency 2 have come together to deliberate on how to achieve that. The strategic meeting which was held on Sunday, 8th of March,2020 at Agbado had stakeholders from various organizations such as Community Development Committee (CDC), religious organizations as well as paramilitary in attendance.
The Convener of the meeting, Comrade Faruq Olaotan Shitta while addressing the gathering said the meeting is meant to bring youth stakeholders in Ifo Constituency 2 together in order to contribute their quota to community development. “The main reason for this meeting is to bring youth stakeholders in Ifo 2 together and to remain united and formidable as we are before now. Despite the fact that National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) does not have constituency in her constitution or structure that does not mean that we can’t come together to have a formidable voice and impact our constituency, Faruq added.”
