Za’amah Integrated School celebrate cultural day stylishly

Staff, parents as well as pupils of Za’amah Integrated School were appeared on gorgeous and attractive attires as they celebrate the 3rd annual cultural day of the school.

The event that took place on Thursday, 7th of March, 2019 at the school premises in Osere, Agbado Oke Aro LCDA, Ogun State was well attended by prominent personalities as well as admirers of the school including Alhaja Rashidat Garu, Mr Olabode as well as Mrs Khadijah Muh Awwal Garu.

The event was kicked start with an opening prayer, followed by reading from the Holy Qur’an. Afterward, the national anthem, Ogun anthem as well as the school anthem was recited.

The Head Teacher of the school, Mr Nurudeen Fadeyi popularly called Dr Fadex in his closing remarks admonished the parents to always support the school in order for their children or wards to excel academically, adding that learning does not end in the school. He also urged the parents to always take proper care of their children or wards and to continue to support the school by paying their children school fee promptly.

Activities at the event include; singing of Islamic songs, adulation of various towns and cities in Nigeria, which include Ilorin, Egba, Osun, and Ibadan, drinking competition as well as cultural dances.

Cultural day is an annual event that usually celebrated in primary and secondary schools in Nigeria, it is meant to showcasing and promote Nigeria’s cultural heritage. It usually celebrated every second term of every academic session.
