Vote Hon. Sapele for better Sagbama LGA – Tena John

A Lagos base ecommerce expert, Tena John has urged his fellow people of Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State to vote and support Hon. Lawrence Ewhus Sapele in the forthcoming local government election. He made this known in a statement titled “Hon. Lawrence Ewhus Sapele is a born leader” and made available to Community Gist. In the statement, Tena explained how he met Sapele and his contributions to humanity.

The statement reads: “Hon Lawrence Ewhus Sapele is a born Leader with the high sense of humility. He’s very organize and coordinated. I met my good Ijaw brother in Sokoto State during our service year.

“I and Hon Lawrence Ewhus Sapele were roommate in Goronyo Local Government, Sokoto state. I never knew he was from Bayelsa State until we both started conversation and we introduced ourselves.

“He’s from my maternal LGA ( Sagbama LGA) and we lived together happily together as brothers in Sokoto state. Sapele is a coordinated leader during our service year.

“He was the first corp member that made us to Sabi Goronyo LGA. He brings all corp members together both Christians and Muslims.

“He pushed so hard to make sure we received our state allowee early and he was elected as the Chairman of Goronyo corpers association due to his sense of leadership.

Concrete bridge constructed by Hon. Lawrence Sapele when he was Ward 2 Councilor.

“He always make sure that we are all ok and believe some much in the happiness of all of us. He was also elected as the Commander-in- Chief of the NYSC road safety, Goronyo chapter. He was the drama coordinator of the NCCF Goronyo chapter.

“He is deeply a leader and if he can do all the above during our service year, I believe he will do more if giving the opportunity to serve the people of Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

“When he served as Ward 2 councilor, Sapele constructed bridge, have ten appointees he is paying till date among other things.

“If elected as the Chairman of the LGA, he will initiate various youths and women empowerment programs, skill acquisition, there will be a town hall meeting every month end to know the plight of the people, there will be a local government educational scheme where students from poor homes will be assisted to pay school fees and other fees, infrastructure development, etc.

“I want to call on the people of Sagbama to give this good Ijaw son the opportunity to serve.”
