Alhaji (Prince) Sulaimon Otun turbaned as Baba Adini of Isara Remo
Good Islamic leadership and governance within any Muslim Ummah (Community) play a vital role in the development of individual Muslim or group and their dwelling society. The fact remains that good leadership style could only be found in persons of credible character who are concern about whatever it’s important to human existence like faith (Islam); also among people who shows keen interest to cater for things that matters in the lives of people whom they are to be served.
This is reason why the Muslim Community of Isara Remo Land, Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State under the Imamship of Sheihk Alhaji Soliu Thanni Ireyemi turbaned Alhaji (Prince) Sulaimon Kolawole Otun as the Baba Adini of Isara Remo, Ogun State.
The event which took place on Friday, 26th of February, 2021 at Isara Remo Central Mosque, was well attended by prominent personalities such as Imams, Islamic Scholars as well as Community Chiefs both from home and abroad.
The new Baba Adini appreciate the community for the honour bestowed on him saying “I see this title as a call to serve ALLAH subhanahu’ wa tahala and serving HIM more through individual members of Isara Remo Muslim Community and entire people in my home town (Isara Remo Land).”
One of brothers to the new Baba Adini, Alhaji Ishaq Ajibola Otun ( The Director of Finance and Admin at Alqalam Schools, Ibadan ) in a chat with our correspondent described his brother as a credible and trustworthy person which make him deserve such honour.
“We celebrate and congratulate the newly turbaned Baba Adini Of Isara Remo – Alhaji (Prince) Otun Sulaimon Kolawole for a well deserved tittle. We then prayed that ALLAH shall ease his affairs, grants him long life and good deeds for the position to be a source of blessings not a wrath,” Alhaji Otun Ishaq Ajibola asserted.
The unique title of Baba Adini is for personality who understands the pristine Islam, a believer who shows concern about the propagation of Islam in a peaceful manner, who could work assiduously in achieving an excellent co-existence of Muslims with people of other faiths, fostering relationship among Muslims, see to the growth and wellness of Muslims where necessary and to be representing the interest of Muslims in their community among others.
