Alliance for New Nigeria to conduct free medical screening

Alliance for New Nigeria will on Saturday conduct another free medical screening and treatment of residents for common ailments and provision of free eye glasses and free drugs.

The Candidate contesting for Member, Ogun State House of Assembly Ifo Constituency II, Hon. Akeem Oluwamayowa Ogunkoya, said the programme, would hold on Saturday; 5th of January, 2019.

A statement by the Governorship Candidate of the party; Mr. Ademola Ogunbanjo, said that the programme served as alternative access to healthcare and well-being delivery especially to people at the grassroots.

“These programmes are geared toward promoting health, detecting diseases early, and offering treatment and rehabilitation,” he said.Hon. Akeem Oluwamayowa Ogunkoya said that the programme was geared toward ensuring universal health coverage.

According to him, the missions provide services that take health care to the doorsteps of its citizens at no cost to the people.

“These health missions are significant because they enable us to provide healthcare services to all who come irrespective of their age, gender, socio-economic status and affiliations.

“I urged residents of Agbado, Adiyan, Orudu, Ijeja, Muta, Randu, Oke-Oko, Moboluwaduro, Peter Village, etal to take advantage of the programme and benefit from experts’ care for common ailments and other free health services,” he added.

Community Gist gathered that services to be offered include consultation and treatment for common ailments as well as screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, cryotherapy, diabetic, mass deworming. Others are HIV Screening and Counselling, eye care and provision of free eye glasses, provision of free drugs.
