Community agog as Adiyan Alausa ACDC inaugurates new executives

Thursday, 17th of November was indeed a memorable day for the people of Adiyan Alausa Area Community Development Committee (CDC) as they inaugurates new executives that will manage the affairs of the CDC for the next three years.

The historical event will was held at New Event Center was well attended by prominent community, political and traditional leaders within and outside the community.

The outgoing CDC chairman, Rev. Dr. Jacob B. Adesola appreciate Almighty God for the grace given him and his executives to direct the affairs of the CDC. He also appreciate those that contributed one way or the other to their successful tenure.

Part of this speech reads: “Being pioneer executives, it was full of challenges, but with God on our sides and unflinching supports of our leaders and stakeholders, I am happy to report that God has helped us beyond human reasoning. Our achievement in these years are direct results of my loyal executives, commitment members and supportive stakeholders. We were able to mobilize resources from government, corporate and private individuals that culminated in:

“Building of ultra modern Health Center with valuable medical equipment, parts of the equipment were supplied by Hon. Fatiu Salami, Transitional Committee Chairman, Ifo Local Government in 2021; A block of three standard classroom; Complete turnaround renovation of Community Primary School by Rotary International; Securing allocations of furniture for Primary School; Facilitating a near-free eye surgical operations for our members; Facilitating periodic quality medical services (Clinic at your door step) for members; Support the Nigeria Police with brand new Baja Motorcycle; Facilitating a borehole powered by Hon. Ganiyu Oyedeji.

“These achievements would not have been made without the concerted effort of some stakeholders with worthy and ever supportive executives. Our Grand Patron, Oba (Engr.) E. O. Soetan is worthy of mentioning – You are a leader to be proud of any time, any day. I am eternally grateful sirs, God bless you all. Sheikh Jubril Adam Adigun is a wonderful supporter of community development, I am very grateful.

“On this note, I want to appreciate the Ifo Zonal CDC Chairman – Prince Amos O. Oladele, Prince G. B Adebanjo, Captain Babatope Kehinde Emmanuel B.E.K, for their fatherly role and support, all our advisers and ambassadors, I am grateful to you all. While soliciting for even more support for the incoming executives and in these course of these years, if I have stepped on toes in speech, decision or management styles, please bear with me, its all in the best interest of our dear community. I pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you more wisdom and good health. To my friendly and ever supportive members of seven siblings of old Oke Aro Area CDC aka G7, I appreciate your co-operation. God bless you all.”

In his welcome address, the new Chairman of the Area CDC, Mr. M. B. Baleng, appreciates everyone who has been contributing one way or the other to the growth and development of the community, adding that the progamme is meant to celebrate those who have distinguished themselves.

“There is time for everything in life. There is time for planting and there is time for harvestings, we are here today to honour our leaders and members who have distinguished themselves in serving humanity,” Baleng asserted.

Highlight of the event include; presentation of prizes to school children that participated in Quiz Competition, cultural dance as well as presentation of neck medals and awards to distinguished members of the community.
