Do more for Youths, Obanubi tells Ojokoro LCDA Chairman

It was the gathering of all political office holders yesterday at the Secretariat hall of Ojokoro LCDA as the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ojokoro LCDA held her Post ENDSARS Youth Dialogue for youths of the LCDA.

The event which was well attended had the presence of the Executive Chairman, Hon. HID Tijani, the leader of the Legislative House, Councillor Abdulazeez Osho along side all the councillors in the council.
The Supervisory Councillor for Agric and Youth Affairs was also present alongside the HOD, Agriculture department that oversees all youth affairs at the Council level.

The Coordinator of NYCN Ojokoro, Comrade Olaniyi Ilori stated the essence of the youth dialogue to engage the political office holders and also charge and tutor the youths on the steps to take to make their demands known and also effect the desired changed in the society.

Comrade Sunday Obanubi, National Coordinator of Youths for New Nigeria, challenged the Council Chairman, Hon. HID Tijani to get and ensure that all arms of government covering the Executive Team and Legislative are all on their toes working. The political appointees and civil servants also should not be spared as nation building is a collective responsibility and should not be left for the Chairman to do all alone.

Comrade Obanubi further requested that the Council should empower the youth council with brand new utility vehicle to make youth mobilisation productive and more engaging as the task is loaded for the youth council to run without any form of mobility.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Tijani responded in the affirmative and promised to do more for the youth constituency.
