Easy Life, FFS visit Mawere Community, solicit support for APC

The candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Fatiu Folawewo Salami (FFS), and Hon. Isiaka Ayokunle Ibrahim (Easy Life) yesterday visited Mawere community, a suburb of Isheri Olofin kingdom in Isheri/Ojodu ward, Ifo 2 constituency where they solicited support for the party and all its candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

Mawere community which is not a strange environment to both Hon. Isiaka, MHR Ifo/Ewekoro, and Hon. Salami had their presence well appreciated by the indigenous people of Mawere and non-indigenous residents.

The visit saw the inspection of the 350KVA transformer donated to Mawere by Gov. Dapo Abiodun, MFR-led administration, and the borehole constructed by Hon. Fola Salami while he was the Transition Committee Chairman of Ifo Local Government.

The Ifo II State House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Salami stated that he was glad that the community welcomed the APC with all of their heart and that enough is a show of appreciation for what he had done in Mawere through the provision of portable water and the facilitation of a transformer for the people. Hon. Salami further stated that he had not set his eyes on the borehole after it was completed until the visit. He was glad the borehole is functioning and being put to use by the people. Hon. Salami urged the people of Mawere to pay back the kind gesture that the APC has given to them with 100% votes during the forthcoming election.

On his part, the Ifo/Ewekoro candidate of the APC, Hon. Isiaka popularly known as Easy Life, while giving his speech made emphasis numerous times he had engaged the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing in ensuring that Mawere is linked to Isheri and connected with a good road and not a road that will not stand the test of time due to the terrain of the environment due to seasonal flooding during the rainy season. Easy Life however, urged the people to keep hope alive that they will be light at the end of the tunnel as he will continue to further engage the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies that can bring succor to the people. Easy Life also made an assurance that he will make sure the school in Mawere is resuscitated and brought back to life as he’s aware that there are numerous challenges facing the people.

The stakeholders’ engagement had in attendance Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye, Director General of Isiaka Campaign, Hon. Abiodun Adeleye, Ifo Local Government Vice Chairman, Hon. Dapo Adebeshin, Hon. Bode Fakunle, Hon. Moruf Paramole, Hon. Nurudeen, Matanmi, Hon. Kunle Adegboyega, ROTO chairman, Comr. Ismail Olarenwaju Yusuf, distinguished party leaders, and members of the APC amongst others.
