God’s Glory Group Of CDAs host Matogbun Area CDC

Thursday, 1st of August, 2019 was another day for good people of Matogbun Area CDC to deliberate on how to move their community forward. The statutory rotational monthly meeting which was well attended by prominent personalities and passionate community leaders was hosted by God’s Glory Group of CDAs at Comfort Apostolic Ministry, Osere.

The chairman of God’s Glory Group of CDAs, Engr. Samuel Oladejo while delivering his welcome address highlighted the achievement of the Group so far since last year. Part of his speech reads: “I am happy to inform good people of Matogbun under this Area CDC that as at last year when I am reporting the numbers of CDA in God’s Glory Group that we have 5 CDAs, but today we have increased as started below: registered CDAs: Royal, Iranlowo, Success, Ife Oluwa and Ifesowapo; proposed CDAs are: Crown, Unique and Toluwalase. With God on our side by this time next year we will be able to announce to you the registration of these proposed and another proposed not mentioned above.

“Electrification: with proper monitoring of our 500 KVA transformer and adequate maintenance, the transformer still given us its worth. Big kudos to the group electrification task force under the leadership of Barrister Olawale Oladele aka Oba. Others include Mr Adio Ademuyiwa, Mr Segun Jaiyeola, Mr Isaac Adebayo and Mr Abiodun Adebayo. These people have performed very well to see that they light-up God’s Glory Group as at and when due.

“Road: I also commend efforts of our road committee in the area of road rehabilitation. Effort of the team leader in person of Mr Rasheed Majekodun are being appreciated as well as other members of the committee to ensure that our roads are motorable. I implore you and your committee to come forward with a modality for generating fund for your proposal on other roads repair including culvert at Transformer Base Junctions.

“Security: Thank God for giving us grace for the security of lives and properties in our community. My advice is directed to all other CDAs to emulate Ife Oluwa CDA in the area of security and at the same time let us be vigilant in our various locality and report any suspicious movement to the appropriate authority.”

The chairman, Matogbun Area CDC, Deacon O. M. Olapade while responding to the Group Chairman welcome address commended him and the group for a well done job. He then admonished those that use to ply Oke Aro Matogbun road to always support those working on the road morally and financially. He also urged CDAs who are yet to conduct their election to do so as soon as possible and those that are yet to pay their 3000 naira election fee to do so.

Other issues discussed at the meeting include; prepaid metre, health, security and goat rearing.”
