Happy Valley Int’l School celebrate Xmas party in grand style
A prestigious private school situated at Olambe in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State known as Happy Valley International School has celebrated this year Xmas Party in a grand style. The party which is meant to celebrate the pupils and staff of the school took place at JJT Party, Alausa Ikeja on Thursday, 15th of December.
The Proprietress of the school, Mrs. Esther Ehiaguina in an interview with our correspondent described the Xmas party as a great event that is meant to enable the children to catch some fun.
“We decided to bring them out so that they can interact with other students. Education is not all about being in one place reading and writing, going out to meet people is part of it. Bringing them here today, they are happy, they are celebrating and by the special grace of God, we will try to make it a memorable one for them,” Mrs. Esther added.
She however, admonished the children to be committed to whatever they are doing, especially in education and to know how to care for each other, share love and be contented with whatever they have.
A teacher of the school, Mrs. Olugbenga said the event is meant to take the children out to catch some fun and to give them the necessary exposure saying taking kids out is educative, which will enable them to meet people, know places and to learn more beyond the classroom. She then advised the children to take the event as an advantage to learn more.
Pupils of the school have these to say:
“I feel happy and appreciate my school for bringing us to such a wonderful place to learn and catch fun. I have learn how to play different games, how to dance and so many things,” Said Ovia Kingsley, a Basic 3 pupil.
A Nursery one pupil, Happiness Onuoha said she is so happy to be at JJT Park as she has learn skipping, running and bursting of balloons .
Favour Olugbega appreciate the school for exposing them to another way of learning and catching fun at the same time.
