Community agog as Maidan Health Centre begins operation
Communities in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State such as Maidan, Matogbun, Legun, Koye as well as Osere will now have access to Primary Health Care for the first time as Maidan Primary Health Centre begins operation.

The Community Health Practitioner incharge of the Health Centre, Mr. Ogunkoya Tunde who took our correspondent round the facility said their services include; immunization, antenatal as well as child bearing. Ogunkoya however added that immunization and antenatal usually take place every Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. He also appreciated the host community; Maidan United Group of CDAs as well as Maidan Town for their unflinching support.
Recall that Maidan Health Centre was a self help project, initiated and constructed to about 90% completion by the good people of Maidan but completed by Ifo Local Government under the leadership of the Transition Chairman, Hon. Fatiu Folawewo Salami and commissioned by the state government of 7th of October, 2020.
