Ifo LG hold end of the year party for children
In a bid to celebrate and put smiles on the faces of children in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun, the present administration of the Local Government under the leadership of Mrs. Kikelomo Delano has put together an end of the year party.
The event that took place on the 24th of December, 2021 at the Council Secretariat had several children in various communities within the local government in attendance.
Speaking at the event, the LG Boss, Mrs. Kikelomo Delano admonished parents and guardians to instill discipline and morals in their children and wards in order to be better citizens of this country and a worthy ambassadors of the local government. Her words: “Discipline and morals are scarce among children these days, this cannot help if we are longing for a better tomorrow, therefore, let us try as much as possible to play our roles on our children and wards.
“As Government is working tirelessly with lots of credible efforts towards making our children/wards successful, as parents we also need to reciprocate this gesture by giving the utmost support and cooperation required of us. I appealed to everyone to continue to live in peace, extend love to our neighbors’ and keep supporting the government to get the best from it.”
Highlights of the event include; dancing, games, among other fun-filled activities.
